Daniel Warwauld had an absolutely sensational catch as he accompanied his Dad, Peter Warwauld, on a session on Thompson's Pool. After a couple of days with little signs of fish, Peter decided to go to the toilet and whilst doing so his rod screamed off to the delight of Daniel who managed to angle the fish through the ice and into the net. This beautiful Mirror Carp weighed in at a stonking 31lb 8oz.

Peter had been targeting the specimen fish of Thompson's Pool using 15mm Richworth Pineapple Hawaiian boilies and has to take a lot of the credit for this magnificent capture as well as some great angling skills shown by Daniel.
