26lb 6oz Mirror Carp

Barrie Thomas enjoyed an exciting catch this week, with a 26lb 6oz Mirror Carp Specimen falling victim to Barrie Thomas' tactics which has not been caught for the last couple of years. The stunning fish was in superb condition due to its elusive behaviour and the exceptional fish care dealt by Llyn Y Gors and the courteous anglers who fish there.

Barrie was fishing the swim 'The Double Bay' alongside fellow angler Ian Johnson and the fish to each of them certainly shows the amount of fish patrolling that side of the lake. However these catches are in contrast to those of the last few weeks with many of the fish coming out from 'The Broken Track' swim, 'The Aquarium' swim and 'Nightmare' swim.
