Barrie continued his fine form on Thompson's Pool as his rod rattled off with the power of a 31lb 2oz Catfish. Fishing 'Double Bay' Barrie was thrilled with his first huge Catfish which is the biggest to be caught this year.

Barrie was fishing tight to the island from the 'Double Bay' swim after having vast amounts of activity after baiting up sections and the monstrous Catfish opted to take Barrie up on his offerings of crushed boilies and a 15mm freshly frozen Boilie hookbait. The Catfish are certainly getting down on the feed on both The Old Carp Lake and Thompson's Pool and it wont be long before more are on the bank.
