MORE FISH STOCKINGS TO THE KARPIUM (DUE TO OPEN 14TH
MARCH 2008)
Llyn Y Gors welcomed yet another batch of new stockings this week with 60 Carp from Mark Simmonds arriving for The Karpium. 60 Fish between 8lb to 12lb went into The Karpium to boost the already thriving atmosphere the lake is producing prior to the opening while the other 40 Mirror Carp went into The Old Carp Lake. Putting the tally of fish in The Karpium up to a whopping 236 fish weighing up to 28lb with 14 more arriving in January 2008, The Karpium is certainly going to be a hectic lake come the opening in March 2008. Serious Carp anglers; book now to avoid any disappointment (Tel: 01248 713410).

MORE FISH STOCKINGS TO THE OLD CARP LAKE
As well as the 60 fish that were put into The Karpium another 40 Mirror Carp between 8lb to 12lb were put into The Old Carp Lake this week to give it another injection over the Winter months. Plenty of fish are currently being caught on the bank whilst the 20lb+ and 30lb+ Carp seem rather elusive at the moment. Yet more fish in the lake may stir the water resulting in the larger fish feeding regularly due to higher competition. Time will tell yet anglers are thrilled at the current form being produced by the lake!

John Butler - Friday 10th November |
John Butler enjoyed some good form shown by The Old Carp Lake as Winter kicks off with plenty of fish on the bank. John opted to fish on 'The Cliffs' using Heathrow Baits Oyster Cranberry boilies and the bait certainly worked well resulting in a 6lb Ghost Carp and a 9lb Common Carp whilst the big 20lb+ and 30lb+ Carp continue to avoid being caught.
