14lb Pike

Darren Walker landed a personal best pike with a 14 lb beauty caught on the "Front". Darren who is a regular visitor to Llyn Y Gors is only 11 years old, but has some impressive captures including a 22 lb mirror and also a 14 lb barbel (from the river!!!). Mark Drennan landed two pike of 5 lb and 6 lb whilst fishing the "Door" swim, both on lamprey section. Local angler Wayne Mitchell weighed in 5 fish during a cold day session to a respectable 10 lb 4 oz. All of Wayne's fish were caught on a worm and deadbait cocktail.
