24lb Mirror Carp

Neil Golden was the latest angler to catch a new personal best on Thompson's Pool. During his first night of his first ever session on Thompson's Pool his rod screamed off and to his delight, Neil netted a 24 lb 12 oz mirror which beat his previous p.b by nearly 9 lb. Neil set up in the "Double Bay" tempting the simmo on Richworth K-G-1 boilies.

Young Liverpool angler Danny Hill struck in to a 25 lb common during his 48 hour session on the "Barbecue" swim. Danny (aged 15) beat his personal best by over 10 lb with the beautiful looking common (unfortunately no picture!!). Danny fished glugged Dynamite Fresh Fish boilies over a bed of crushed boilie and pellet.
