22lb and 19lb Catfish & 12lb Common Carp

Local angler Tom Webb has been trying to catch his first catfish since starting fishing here at Llyn Y Gors. During the first night of his 48 hour session Tom netted two catfish, the first a 19 lb specimen followed by the biggest of the session, a 22 lb moggie. Tom fished hair rigged Squid on a size 6 Raptor T. He also tempted a cracking 12 lb common fishing bread on the surface which rounded the session off just nicely.
