The Llyn Y Gors venue record for Catfish was this week smashed as young angler Joe Newby continued his fine form on Thompson's Pool catching the invinsible and elusive big Catfish which patrols the lake bed even though photograph records suggest that this Catfish is the smaller of the two due to a pattern seen on both photos. Martin Newby also produced great form with a 24lb Mirror Carp whilst Chris Coe was not to be outdone as he caught on The Old Carp Lake using surface methods with a gorgeous 15lb Common/Ghost Carp.
