The combination of medium modulus carbons and new blank tapers ensure that both models can handle light and heavy gear for small or big fish. The 120QT offers three quivertips and will suit all general feeder techinques including bream and carp on the medium sized method. For styles on a beefier scale or that bit further the 130FQ will do fine thank you. Handling lines to 6lbs it will let you punch a Method at distance or haul chub away from their snaggy havens.

As more and more fisheries offer good sport from hard fighting fish all rods should be able to cope. The new Sensor Z leger have been designed to do exactly that. A combination of new blank designs and multi ply carbno has resulted in three rods which will handle everything from finicky skimmers to angry 'match' sized carp. The range starts with a 11' twin top with features a quiver tip and threaded tip guide top sections. Our multi quiver model is 11'6" and offers three quiver tips. Daiwa designers have taken the concept of the 14.5 m design into the future and brought to the angling world a model which breaks the rules. Based on a longer section configuration the Tournament X, when assembled, has one less joint. This itself has allowed the creation of a lighter more rigid pole. Combine this with new diameters and tapers using the very latest Super MSG material and you have a balanced strong rigid pole which is only 990 g at 14.5 m and is better than anything ever made. Exhaustive field tests by Tom Pickering and Will Raison have allowed the design team to hone its features further and further and it has proved itself with elastics up to No. 14. CONNOISSEUR X MKII POLE

The benefit of the "long section" breakthrough has rapidly found its way into our pole development and the new CNXP takes full advantage of it. Using MSG and HM68 carbon this new pole returns the balance and handling expected from more expensive models. Suited up to No. 12 elastic this CNXP will convert to a carp pole also with use of the new CTK5 taking up to No. 16 elastic. The PMXS 11'9" Avon gives all the feel anglers expect when playing fish and returns an excellent casting and striking action. Using MSG and Powermesh strength, the 119 Av will cast 100 yds but still forgive when playing fish at your feet. Finished off with a full cork handle Armlock, and Slide Lock reel seat. Also available is an 11'6" two piece specialist with a feel of a full carp rod but on a smaller scale. Finished off with split Duplon grips and a graphite reel seat, the PMXS 116 is the perfect stalking rod.

Five brand new designs for 1999. Available in 45" and 50" ribs, two models feature the popular Nylon canopy and two the totally waterproof, reinforced, Light Seal. The tilt mechanism is a quality ball socket joint. Our top brolly is a 50" model with a Light Seal canopy and multi positional facility. The centre pole can be relocated at an angle into the peak of the brolly and a tilt hinge allows a more extreme position to be achieved. Each brolly is supplied with an adjustable groung spike.
