A dream week - Great weather, Natural Water and Superb Clay
Ned (who also dug Thompson's) is well underway now on the creation of our third specimen lake.The banks are taking shape nicely and water will not be a problem in the future as we have hit 6 natural springs so far.Bottom features are being created as he goes along.The average depth looks to be around 7' with some deeper channels and holes to 10' where sumps have been.The smaller of the two fields being used for the new lake is now about third dug-out but the difficult bit is still to come with the creation of a central triple S island and a small round island.
