Open Matches are held most Sundays at Llyn y gors - ring beforehand (01248 713410) to check and to book your peg - remember, there are only 30 pegs!

AS OF 1ST JUNE 2002, ANGLERS WILL BE REQUIRED TO USE TWO KEEPNETS ON THE MATCH LAKE - ONE FOR CARP AND ONE FOR OTHER SPECIES

GOLDEN PEG STANDS AT £46

For a one-off entry fee of £5.00 anglers fishing the match can also take part in the Golden Peg Jackpot.  After the draw for the match, all the peg numbers drawn are put back into the hat and the Golden Peg number is drawn from these. If the angler fishing on the Golden Peg wins the match, he/she also wins the Golden Peg Jackpot.  In addition to the £5.00 entry fee paid into the Golden Peg Jackpot by each angler, Roger adds 50p per angler each match, so the Jackpot is guaranteed to increase each week until won.  If 10 to 15 anglers are fishing the match, there will be one Golden Peg and the payout will be 50%. If 16 to 30 anglers are fishing the match, there will be two Golden Pegs and the payout will be 100%.
