22lb 14oz Common Carp

Mark Davidson managed to catch his personal best this week by 10oz with this stunning Common Carp from Thompson's Pool that weighed in at 22lb 14oz. Mark was fishing the 'Nightmare' swim and cast to a rolling fish towards the end of his session with a 15mm frozen boilie accompanied by a pva bag and this was his reward.

Mark was over the moon with this capture especially after both Nick Slater and Marc Ward lost specimen fish on Thompson's Pool over the weekend and Mark Davidson's angling shows the benefits of reacting to the situation to great effect of putting fish on the bank!
