19lb Common Carp & 24lb and 29lb Mirror Carp

Fantastic captures this week to go with the fantastic weather over the Easter holiday. Youngsters Walker Burton and Jordan Wright fished alongside each other on Thompson's Pool. Walker fished the "Double Bay" netting two fish, the first the biggest of the week a whacking 29 lb 4 oz mirror. It was Walker's first ever session on Thompson's Pool and just as he thought things could not get any better his second rod screamed off and in the net another quality Mark Simmonds mirror weighing 24 lb. Both fish fell to 12 mm Elite Baits Christmas Cracker boilies. Jordan who was set up on the "Aquarium" also landed his first Thompson's Pool fish, a nice 19 lb common which he also caught on Cracker. An excellent session for both anglers. Barrie Thomas fancied a change of swim, this time fishing "The Well". Another twenty was soon in the net, an immaculate 22 lb common. Barrie fished MB Baits Black Extract boilies.
