		10 new 20lb+Mirrors, the largest being 27lb were introduced yesterday. Having travelled all the way from KBA Fish in Scotland, some 790 miles away, these fish were extremely lively and therefore were photographed in their slings to avoid any potentail damage.They spent last winter under 3' of ice so we have high hopes as hardy fish they will grow on to be 30s
		New 12lbs ForOld Carp Lake
		20 new 12lb+ Mirrors, the largest being 17lb were introduced yesterday. Again these came from KBA Fish in Scotland, some 790 miles away, and included 2 stunning fully scaled fish. Like the fish for Thompsons they spent last winter under 3' of ice so we know they are hardy and will hopefully grow on to be 20's in a couple more years
		Karpium 18lb + 7 Other Fish
		The Karpium was being torn up by the fish yesterday 23/8/11 with the water turning a really dark mud colour. Nick decided to fish Pablo's Island after work and managed this stunnung 18lb mirror and landed 7 other fish to 12lb despite only fisihing for 8 hours as he had to work today. He used flurocarbon hooklinks with a Size 8 wide gape hook , feeding plenty of freebies of his chosen bait Dynamite Baits Red Fish Boilies

		The Karpium In Stunning Form
		Last week saw Simon Dixon take 75 fish to 14lb over a 5 session period including a lovely Koi (picture awaited). He used pellet feeder over a large bed of hemp corn & pellet. Andy Starr grabbed 14 fish to 11lb over 2 days. Jason Payne weighed in with 19 fish to 16lb over two days. Peter Dorey over two days landed 7 fish to 12lb 8oz.

		With the sun shining some of the smaller fish seem to have woken up. 	NEW PRICES EFFECTIVE 11/01/11	Fishing Ticket Prices Significantly Reduced
		Despite having invested more than £25000 in new fish since May last year throughout this winter fishing ticket prices have been significantly reduced across the board in most cases. 		Steve Morgan fished Thompsons during August last year for the first time. Fishing the Nightmare Swim Steve banked "Spot" at 29lb 8oz a personal best mirror.

		Karpium Stocking 29th October 200 Carp averaging 5lb were stocked today. 120 beautifully scaled Mirrors and 80 Commons
These fish join the 98+ fish we left after draindown between 10lb and 18lb
	Thompson's Stocking 26th/27th October
	From the Karpium we moved 16 carp to 21lb 10oz and the Catfish which was originally stocked at 31lb. The stocking in detail consisted of 9 Mirrors - 15lb 3oz, 17lb 11oz, 17lb 12oz, 16lb 10oz, 18lb 3oz, 21lb 10oz, 17lb 6oz, 17lb 10oz and 17lb 8oz and 7 Commons, 17lb 1oz, 15lb 2oz, 20lb 12oz, 20lb 4oz, 20lb 8oz, 21lb 2oz and 20lb 2oz
	The Karpium - Draindown Complete
	This year we decided to clear the Karpium as much as possible of the large weed beds - not very easy considering its huge depths and to boost Thompsons stock of fish by moving some of the larger specimens over. We would not have done as well as we did without the considerable help we received from locals Sion, Calvin, Dion & Osian who worked extremely hard in the very challenging conditions along with Wayne, Darren and myself.
	Kevin Coe - The Karpium - Mirror 17lb 11oz
	Kevin spent a rare days fishing this time of year and choose to go on The Karpium. He baited up with Cell & Llyn Y Gors L1 frozen boilies mixed with 4mm Dynamite Carp Pellets, Hemp & Sweetcorn. Despite weeding up constant pressure manage to keep the fish moving and back into open water.
	Carl Loftus. - Old Carp Lake - 20lb 2oz Catfish
	Carl , fishing for the cats for the 3rd year running, was very determined this time. With all other avenues of bait tried he went for a simple carp approach but using a long coated hook link with a size 6 hook baited with 15mm Cell boilies. He was fishing the swim known as Catfish Channel.After a couple of carp of around 8 lb at around 12 midnight his alarm screamed into life with line ripping off at a rate he lifted into his first twenty pound cat. A you can see from the photo it’s a stunning fish.
	Chris - Reed Lake - 5lb Tench
	Chris`s swim was slow to start,but eventually when it did,fished well with tench from 2lb to just over 5lb with quite a few nice roach,good perch to 3/4lb, skimmers and a nice bream. Chris was using a lock slider float due to the windy conditions,on a 16 spade end b/less,using double to triple maggot fishing on a bed of small pellet+maggot - feeding little but often.
	Ronnie - Reed Lake -2lb 3oz 8dr Crucian
	"Here are the the pics and a run down of the fish that Chris and i caught on Sunday in that appalling weather (BUT WELL WORTH IT!!!) On the new Reed Lake I had 11 tench ranging from 3 to 5lb plus what made my day was,a crucian carp that weighed 2lb 3 1/2 oz. My biggest Tinca was 5lb dead,but I lost 6 biguns,and was smashed on 6lb mainline line,with a 3lb12oz bottom twice. I then went up to a 4lb bottom and was smashed again,so I then went 6lb straight through. " Ronnie
	Cliff Riley - The Karpium - 17lb Common
	After a brief gap in carp fishing, Cliff decided to go on the Karpium after seeing fish in the margins of KC Bay (Right). After a few handfuls of pellet and boilie, Dynamite Spicy Chicken, his first night tally was four fish to 11 lb. The following morning his rods tore off and after a hefty fight his new PB, a common of 17 lb was on the mat (pictured). Cliff managed a impressive haul of 13 fish during the session.
	Richard Jones - Thompsons - 23lb Mirror
	Fishing his first session on Thompson’s Pool, he spotted a few fish in the lillies next to the Rock swim. With a simple running lead set up on 15 mm Mainline Cell boilies, Richard cast out just off the pads. Within a half hour his alarm screamed off and after a ten minute fight the tail of a 23 lb 3 oz mirror came over the spreader block which turned out to be his new Personal Best. Not bad for someone only carp fishing 4 months.

	Bryn Webb - The Old Carp Lake
	Bryn, 14 fished the Old Bay using KG1boilies and a kd rig.Determined not to be out done by father and brother he managed to bank a mirror carp around 5lb

	Aled from Deganwi, Conway fished alongside his father on Ghostie Corner had an 8lb 8oz Mirror Carp and this Catfish. Aled is pictured right. He fished KG1 boilies using a kd rig.
	Tony Rafyery -The Karpium 15lb Mirror
	Tony in his own words "We went to Llyn-y-Gors to full fill a dream. We did with a 15lb mirror called 'lumpy'. Excellent advice from the lads in the shop." He fished Electric Avenue using a running rig with L1 boilies over hemp.

	Chris fished peg 6 on Reed Lake taking around 70 fish comprising of Chub, Roach, Bream & Perch plus thisstunning Crucian. He fished loaded waggler with6lb mainline, 4lb hooklink over a bed of 4mm pellet and maggot. Hookbait was double white maggot.

	Paul Harris - Thompson's Pool 19lb 8oz Common Carp
	After a recent dry spell on Thompson's Pool, Paul Harris came back to the lake determined to catch another beautiful specimen and he certainly did. Paul weighed in this gorgeous 21lb 4oz Common Carp after enticing it with a 20mm frozen Nash Scopex Squid Liver Plus boilie surrounding by scattered boilies on Barbeque Corner.

	We are fortunate to have hundreds if not thousands of tench growing on in our 3 stock ponds.They love the extremely weedy conditions and are our future stock to backup the 681 tench already put into Reed Lake. Pictured some of the last 73 larger fish 3lb to 7lb stocked
	Grandad - Thompson's Pool 32lb 4oz Mirror Carp
	Grandad smashed his personal best on Thompson's Pool on his first session on the lake with this stonking 32lb 4oz Mirror Carp known as 'Shoulders'. Grandad was using Richworth frozen KG1 15mm boilies over pva bags of crushed boilies and pellets and this certainly worked for him.

	Barrie weighed in with this beautiful 24lb 12oz Common Carp from Thompson's Pool after targeting the fish with a scattered bed of boilies and pellets surrounding his hooklink with 15mm frozen M&B baits Black Extract boilie.

	WAYNE RILEY 32LB 0OZ MIRROR - THOMPSON'S POOL
	Wayne Riley is on fire these last two weeks with his third fish smashing his personal best. Wayne reeled in the beast that is 'Shoulders' at a stonking 32lb 0oz, once again on his 'barbi-rig' with a Dynamite Baits Mulberry Florentine flouro 15mm Pop Up over Dynamite Baits pellet.
	WAYNE RILEY 24LB 1OZ MIRROR - THOMPSON'S POOL
	Wayne continued his fine form over on Thompson's Pool, breaking his personal best once again by 1lb, catching 'Tango' at 24lb 1oz from Double Bay Right. Wayne was fishing with Dynamite Baits Mulberry Florentine flouro 15mm pop up over scattered frozen boilies using his newly created 'barbi-rig'.
	WAYNE RILEY 24LB 0OZ MIRROR - THOMPSON'S POOL
	Wayne Riley had his first ever fish from Thompson's Pool and broke his personal best with this fantastic 24lb 0oz Mirror from The Aquarium of Thompson's Pool. Wayne was fishing Mainline Cell 15mm boilies and scattering plenty of loose fed to entice the fish.
	NICK SLATER 22LB 3OZ COMMON - THOMPSON'S POOL
	Not to be outdone over on Thompson's Pool, Nick Slater weighed in with this gorgeous 22lb 3oz Common Carp, a targeted fish for Nick. Nick was testing Empire Baits Mussel & Kelp frozen 15mm boilies over pva bags of Kelp pellet.
	JACK ASHURST - 14LB 8OZ CATFISH - THE OLD CARP LAKE
	Jack Ashurst had a fantastic 72 hour session with 4 Catfish including this lovely 14lb 8oz Catfish from Old Bay on The Old Carp Lake Jack was fishing with Dynamite Baits Tiger Nut frozen 15mm boilies.
	REED LAKE STOCKING - LAKE SET TO OPEN 1ST MARCH 2010
	1,400 fish have been added to Reed Lake which is set to open on the 1st March 2010. 800 Bream and 600 Tench have gone into the lake on top of 1,200 Roach to 1 1/2lbs. (Full Story and Pictures)
	AARON 17LB 2O COMMON - THE KARPIUM
	Aaron caught this stunning 17lb 2oz Common Carp from Pablo's Island of the Karpium using Richworth KG1 frozen 15mm boilies on a short hooklink. Aaron caught another 3 fish with this being the pick of the session.
	Linda Greenwood - 18lb 2oz Pike - The Old Carp Lake
	Linda Greenwood had a fantastic Pike whilst fishing from Derek's Mountain on The Old Carp Lake weighing in at 18lb 2oz. Linda was using Smelt as a deadbait and this certainly worked well.
	REED LAKE - OPEN MID-FEBRUARY 2009
	A transformation has taken place at Llyn Y Gors with a new lake being built. The two sides of the Karpium have been segregated and all of the Carp have been moved to the right hand side which is now on stunning specimen form. The left hand side has now been named Reed Lake and will become a specialist Tench and Bream lake. The lake is being prepared and will be opened in Mid-November with a whole host of anglers looking forward to it!!
	Nick Slater - 17lb 12oz Common Carp - The Karpium
	With all of the Carp being moved into the right hand side of the Karpium, the lakes is absolutely on fire at the moment with all the fish competing heavily for food before the cold Winter months. Nick continues to have great success on The Karpium using Smartbait frozen boilies. Using the high attracting Smartbait L1 boilies Nick bagged a beautiful 17lb 12oz Common Carp whilst fishing 'The Sump' of The Karpium. Nick pre-baited 2kg of Smartbait L1 boilies and fished off the tail of the bait to ensure minimal spooking. It certainly worked!
	Liam Dean - 19lb 15oz Common Carp - The Karpium
	Liam Dean got in on the action over the Karpium with a lovely 19lb 15oz Common Carp captured from 'Pablos Island'. Liam was using a flourocarbon hooklength with a 10mm Nash Scopex Squid Liver flouro pop up, placed amongst frozen 10mm and 15mm Nash boilies. Great fishing from the young Liverpool angler!
	Osian - 18lb 15oz Common Carp - The Karpium
	Osian caught his personal best this week with a stunning 18lb 15oz Common Carp using Mainline Cell 15mm frozen boilies. Osian fished over the top of a bed of pellet and frozen boilies using a short braided hooklength and was absolutely over the moon with his personal best capture.
	Paul Hughes - 15lb 2oz Pike - The Old Carp Lake
	Paul Hughes was delighted with this stonking 15lb 2oz caught from The Old Carp Lake. Paul was using Lamprey dead bait with high oil leakage which enticed to the Pike to the deadbait. Paul was using two Size 6 Hooks on a sliding rig as trebles cannot be used due to the Catfish in the lake. Ready made Pike Rigs with single hooks can be purchased from the tackle shop.
	Luke Roberts - 13lb 7oz Mirror Carp - The Old Carp Lake
	Luke Roberts, aged 9, caught a fantastic 13lb 7oz Mirror Carp from 'Derek's Mountain' of The Old Carp Lake fishing on the fair side of the lake tight to the lillpads nearest the island. Luke wrote in to thank fishery assistant Nick Slater for all his help and assistance in catching a fish that made his week!
	Wayne Riley - 9lb 10oz Common Carp - The Old Carp Lake
	Wayne Riley weighed in with a nice 9lb 10oz Common Carp this week whilst fishing a short session on 'The Backs' of The Old Carp Lake. Wayne was using Solar Tackle 14mm frozen BYT boilies and it certainly paid off on a short 20lb Fox hooklength fished over a large bed of bait.

	Nick Slater caught this lovely 11lb 4oz Mirror Carp whilst fishing a day session on 'The Old Bay' of The Old Carp Lake. Nick was fishing using Smartbait L1 Boilies exclusively sold at Llyn Y Gors fishery and www.fishingwarehouseshop.co.uk
	Kevin Park - 24lb 7oz Mirror Carp - Thompson's Pool
	Kevin's good form continued on Thompson's Pool as he weighed in this lovely 24lb 7oz Mirror Carp. Kevin was once again using his Quest Baits Special Crab frozen boilies and the fish have certainly reacted to this flavour of boilie on Thompson's Pool. Kevin has been feeding the lake consistently with these frozen boilies and pellet and the fish have responded in great style shown by the captures. A one hundred percent record of three sessions and three fish for the angler.
	Kevin Park- "Shoulders - 33lb 8oz- Thompsons Aquarium
	Kevin Park (pictured) has had a an amazing couple of sessionson Thompsons, the first 24hrs he did back in June resulted in a stunning nearly full leather 24lb mirror, a new PB, not bad, but then he returned to better his PB and smashed it by 9lb when he hooked into the stunning 'Shoulders'. Using his faithful Questbaits "Special Crab" boilies at 7am the morning he was to leave his alarm screamed off, fishing the Aquarium Swim. "I was just packing up and thinking i was going to blank and the alarm rattled off." . Playing it for about 20 mins he finally netted his new PB at 33.8lb. Not only did he have his first thirty but he smashed his PB by a stunning 9lb. Not bad for only his second time on Thompsons. Fishing a size 7 ESP Raptor tied to Korda Stiff link on a Quest Special Crab pop up glugged in the Quest dip on a running rig did the trick. Kevin 31 said "I would like to thank the guys who work in the Tackle Shop , if it wasn't for them my dream would'nt have come true. Cheers".
