12 Carp up to 18lb 12oz

The Kaprium opened for a limited 48hr session hosting The Wales Carp Masters 2007 and some 91 fish were caught during an action packed weekend with a combined weight of 1365 lb. Colwyn bay angler Dave Rutledge had 12 fish including the current lake record, an 18 lb 12 oz mirror during a 24 hour session. Dave fished a variety of baits including L1 and Pineapple pop-ups. Joe Blake had a 16 lb mirror on meat whilst Dan Congrave did one better with 2 fish around the 12 lb mark. Limited places on 7 further sessions planned this year are available. A further 135 fish to 30 lb with be stocked in the winter months prior to the official opening in march 2008.
