I purchased my A- Lite bivvy about 18 months ago now. I have always been a fan of the brolly shelters rather than a full bivvy as they are more versatile and more suitable to day sessions or moving swims quickly.

The A-Lite bivvy is a great compromise as it has all the advantages of a brolly with the full protection of a bivvy. There are no internal ribs so you can get your bedchair further inside and further away from bad weather outside.

By clipping on the frame support supplied with the A-Lite you can pull the side panels right back to give you a full view of the lake, the A-Lite also comes supplied with quality pegs and a groundsheet. There is also an optional second skin available which turns it into a complete bivvy system.

Overall I find it suits every type of fishing, whether it be a week session or a few hours after work. As the name suggests it is extremely light and fits into a rod bag or a quiver sling so it can always be carried in case; perfect for those times when the weather can be unpredictable. As a product I find it hard to fault and it comes at a fraction of the cost of a full bivvy. Highly recommended.
