18lb 4oz Common Carp

Dave Rutledge was delighted this week with this absolutely gorgeous 18lb Common Carp banked from 'The Karpium'. Dave was fishing over the left hand side of the lake on 'Linear Cove' and netted this fish by casting a Llyn Y Gors L1 boilie with a small PVA bag to a showing fish.

Dave Rutledge also managed to catch a small 8lb fully scaled Mirror Carp and the fish over 'The Karpium' are certainly showing decent signs of activity as the temperatures increase slightly. Hopefully in the following weeks the biggest set of fish in the lake will be on the bank in photographs weighing in around the 30lb mark.
