19lb Mirror Carp

Steven May enjoyed his successful return to Llyn Y Gors once again as he caught this lovely 19lb Mirror Carp using Mainline 15mm frozen Fusion boilies. Fishing tight to the island using small crushed pva bags, Steven was thrilled to land his first fish on Thompson's Pool after progressing from The Old Carp Lake.

Steven endured a slightly slow start to his fishing session with quite a bit of activity on his alarms but no full runs yet persistence and patience shined through with Steven keeping to his set fishing tactics and this paid of with great success to show that patience is a virtue. Steven was fishing a Semi-Fixed rig as he deemed it most appropriate for this lake and he was extremely pleased with this 19lb Mirror Carp whilst he hopes to return and catch the 35lb 2oz Mirror Carp specimen which was last caught nearly 4 years ago in May 2004!
