Barrie Thomas, probably the most successful angler on Thompson's Pool, has once again delivered an absolute corker by catching the prolifically known Mirror Carp, Spot. Weighing in at a tremendous 29lb 6oz this time, Spot is a gorgeous big bellied Mirror Carp who is enjoying the feed on Thompson's Pool as much as the others and scoffed Barrie's offerings from 'Double Bay' left swim.

 

After seeing a fish crash, Barrie precisely casted to the spot with a small pva bag and a fresh frozen 15mm boilie, waited 15 minutes before his rod screeched off to his very delight.
