Jon Davies could not believe his luck this week, as his rod screamed off not once but twice whilst packing up after a 24 hour session on Thompson's Pool. Fishing the 'Nightmare' swim, Jon banked a beautiful brace including this stunning 24lb 9oz Common Carp. Fishing using Tails Up OCM frozen 15mm boilies over a bed of boilies and pellet, Jon was absolutely delighted with his captures.

 

Jon's capture has entered the Llyn Y Gors Angling Competition 2009 after being verified by two witnesses including staff member Nick Slater and he could be in for a great prize come the end of the competition on 30th August 2009.
