Bream
Bream are a type of freshwater fish which tend to move in large numbers
and feeding traditionally on natural baits. Bream can generally be identified
by their narrow width yet deep bodies.
Bream mostly feed from the bottom of rivers and are fished with fishing
rods that drop the hook and bait on the bottom. However Bream are also
nowadays stocked in commercial fishery venues for great sport and Bream
are stocked in The Beginners Lake, The Match Lake and The Pleasure Lake
with recorded species up to nealy 5lb.
Best baits for Bream at Llyn Y Gors tend to be Worm and Maggot although
the species is likely to be caught on any bait. Groundbait is ideal
for targeting this species of fish.
