Monday 28th May - Sunday 3rd June

Thompson's Pool has continued to be the 'in form' lake at Llyn Y Gors with a host of big fish being banked from a variety of swims. Dave Welsby netted a 29lb 4oz Mirror Carp in the biggest of the week despite captures by Ben Williams and John Aspinall. Meanwhile plenty of Carp have also come out of The Karpium in exclusive sessions leading up to the Wales Carp Masters 2007 heat next week.

Monday 4th June - Sunday 10th June

The new specimen lake; The Karpium welcomed the first heat at Llyn Y Gors for the Wales Carp Masters 2007 with winners Carl Welsbury and Stephen Black delighted to progress to the Final. The winning weight amounted to 72lb 1oz with the competition closely contested. Tom Webb also enjoyed a session on The Old Carp Lake banking a brace of Catfish up to 22lb as well as a 12lb Common Carp. Likewise Chris Coe netted a 14lb 8oz Common Carp on The Old Carp Lake whilst surface fishing in the sun.

Monday 11th June - Sunday 17th June

John Davies continued some superb from on Thompson's Pool with another well earned brace of Carp with the Mirror Carp and Common Carp tipping the scales at 22lb and 21lb respectively. Nick Slater also enjoyed banking a lovely 20lb Common Carp and likewise Ian Johnson with a 20lb Mirror Carp showing the quality form Thompson's Pool has been in. At the other end of the spectrum, Oliver Griffith aged just 9 years old netted a lovely 5lb Mirror Carp on The Pleasure Lake.

Monday 18th June - Sunday 24th June

Heat 2 of The Wales Carp Masters 2007 finished this week with another good session with Paul Hussain and Phil Austin qualifying for the final by netting a weight of 70lb. Meanwhile The Old Carp Lake performed consistently well throughout the week with Tony Egdar netting a 16lb Common Carp, Adam Owen a 13lb Common Carp and Matt Lea 6 fish up to 12lb. Likewise Andy Ellis caught a lovely 18lb Common Carp on Thompson's Pool.

Monday 25th June - Sunday 1st July

Gary Risley had the pick of the week at Llyn Y Gors netting the enormously big-bellied 'Spot' Mirror Carp weighing in at 29lb 5oz on Thompson's Pool. Meanwhile Ryan Caton and Daniel Brejwo also enjoyed some fantastic fishing on the lake as they banked a 23lb Ghost Carp and a 27lb Mirror Carp respectively. The Old Carp Lake also produced good form with Alan Williams landing a 14lb Mirror Carp and Nick Slater having 6 fish weighing up to 16lb.
