Nick Slater finally escaped his fishing slump as he tempted this 23lb Mirror Carp beauty which he previously caught a couple of months ago at 21lb! Gary English and Anthony Jones had a fantastic session on The Old Carp Lake as they bagged five fish between them with the biggest the 'broken-back' Ghost/Common Carp weighing in at 15lb 8oz.

Specimen predator angler Linda Greenwood continues to triumph on The Old Carp Lake with a whole host of Pike succumbing to her livebait Roach and Perch. Davie Fairclough also had a fantastic session on Thompson's Pool as he banked 'Broken Tail' at 24lb 8oz whilst Jon Wood and Ida came all the way from Chile and were not disappointed as they landed a whole host of fish incuding 16 to 16lb on The Karpium. Meanwhile 150lb was also caught on The Pleasure Lake by Cliff and Wayne Riley with great Carp up to 9lb.

Cliff Riley continues to do exceedingly well on The Pleasure Lake as proved with this lovely 9lb Mirror Carp just short of being a double. The Old Carp Lake is also proving to be in good form with quite a few fish caught this week. Nick Slater managed to bank a 9 ½ Common Carp whilst Chris Coe alongside him also caught a couple of Carp bordering to the 8-9lb mark. Rob Blinkho and his friends have started their holiday week with three fish banked up to 11lb and quite a few lost fish as well.

The Karpium was added another stocking this week with 25 massive Carp weighing from 20lb 12oz to 28lb 8oz being carefully put in. The new lake is maturing very well with the fish growing well and with this new injection of fish along with more to follow in November and January the lake is certainly going to be one of the hottest in the country.
