JUNIOR LEAGUE RESULTS SATURDAY 29TH SEPTEMBER 2001

Last Saturday saw the final match in the Llyn y gors Junior League which saw N Higham record his first win of the series which was enough to see him top the table as overall winner on 116 points with two seconds and a third in the previous matches.  Second and third on the day were C Allman and A Chadwick respectively although this was not enough for an overall top three place.  Last on the day was G Risley, although earlier good performances saw him take overall second with 104 points followed by Robert Cammidge in overall third on 83 points.

JUNIOR MATCH WEDNESDAY 29TH AUGUST 2001

UNKNOWN ANGLER MAKES JUNIORS DAY
The final Junior match of the school holidays took place on Wednesday with ten juniors taking part.  At stake was a trophy for the overall winner of the six matches which had come down to a battle between Chris Allman and Rob Cammidge who had both previously won 2 matches each.  An extra incentive this time around was provided by a generous angler fishing the carp lake who wished to remain anonymous, but donated over £500 worth of prizes, including a pair of Dyneema hand built Carp Rods, two Shimano Baitrunners, and a Gardner Black Shadow Pod Rod.  A close fought match saw Rob Cammidge in first place with 6lb 9oz to take the overall prize and a pair of Carp Rods and Baitrunner Reels, closely followed by Matt Thomas in second with 6lb 6oz which earned him the Rod Pod.
