CURRENT LAKE RECORD 204 LB 12 OZ
The current record for the Match Lake is held by Steve O'Neil from Liverpool with a massive 204 lb 12 oz bag in one session.
Our 2 ½ acre match lake is stacked out with 11,000 plus fish, including carp, tench, bream, orfe, roach, perch , chub and barbel, and is said to be one of the fairest match lakes ever.!!
30 pegs
Maggots and all tackle and bait available on site
£7 per head to book a limited number of pegs
or
£150 to book the entire lake for your own match
Sites for tents/tourers, on-site self-catering accommodation, local bed and breakfast
Our Match Lake is said by members of the Welsh National Squad to be one of the fairest they've ever fished. We don't go in for high numbers - there are only 30 pegs so matches tend to be a friendly affair. The lake is stocked with ghosties, roach, perch, golden orfe (or carrots), tench, barbel and chub. The lake is available for hire by any club or organisation. On days when there are no matches, the lake is run on a normal day ticket basis. Check out the Rules page for more information.
ANGLERS ARE REQUIRED TO USE TWO KEEPNETS ON THE MATCH LAKE - ONE FOR CARP AND ONE FOR OTHER SPECIES
