Lilly pad Pond
Llyn y Gors caters for fishing families. Where better for the kids to spend the long summer holidays than on the Llyn Y Gors Lilly Pad Pond?
How often have you taken your children fishing, and found they've become bored after an hour? Not so at Llyn y gors! Our Lillypad lake is stocked full of fish so hungry the maggot sometimes hardly hits the water. Some Dad's have even been known to pretend their offspring can't cope on the lake by themselves, so Dad can have some fun as well.
Pegs : 8
Species : Carp, Bream, Roach, Rudd and perch.
Size : 0.8 Acres
Tactics Used : Float fished maggots,corn or pellet are very successful, little n often feeding pattern

Match Lake
Ideal for pole fisherman a 13 metre pole will reach to middle island on most pegs here you find the bigger fish lurking.. Also good on the method feeder for attracting the bigger fish very scenic lake with a real mixture of species that will fight till the end.

Size: 2 acre lake stocked with Carp, Bream, Tench, Barbel, Chub, Perch, Crucian, Ide, Roach and Rudd. Carp to 4lb
Tactics: Match style tactics work well , feed little n often basis, once again maggot, soft pellet, 6mm, 4mm & even 8mm, small method feeder and cage feeders also work well.

Pleasure Lake
This lake is for the more experienced angler looking for the bigger fish again stocked with a huge mixture of species good coverage of lilies to fish to on most pegs where you will find the large fish hiding. A Fantastic lake for accumulating a large weight Pegs: 30 Size:2 Acre Lake stocked with Carp, F1, Bream, Tench, Golden Tench, Ide, Crucian, Perch, Barbel, Eels, Roach and Rudd All size of Fish up to approx 10lb Tactics: Most tactics work on here, method feeder, pellet waggler, pole tactics , the margins fish well, and fishing after 5pm till 8pm in the summer evenings can be very productive. |

The Karpium
This lake has become very popular with specimen carp anglers looking for a excellent runs water each peg is different and each fish is very individual there are Commons, Linear, Mirror and Koi Carp variants. The baits that work well on here are small boilies or maggots in the summer, stocked with at least 190 carp

Size: 1.5 Acre Lake with Specimen Carp Only , from 5lb to 15lb
Tactics: Fishing pellet feeder, method feeder or just small boilies and corn can produce on this well stocked lake, again little and often and increase the feed as the more you catch
Stock: Around 190 carp

The Old Carp Lake
This is the oldest lake on site and is the biggest too at over 4.5 acres. This lake is for the more experienced angler over the last couple of years it has become a fantastic catfish water. We are the only fishery in North Wales to have these. We are lucky to have around 40 catfish ranging from 4lb to 46lb and these are caught regularly.

Size: 4.5 Acre Lake with Carp, Catfish
Carp: to 26lb plus
Catfish: to 45lb+
Tatics: For the catfish, the best choice is a running rig, with either halibut pellet, chicken liver in mesh or even 20mm boilies, they will eat most things. The carp do like a good quality boilie and bait, corn and boilie works well over a pre baited swim.
Taking your time to walk around to find the fish is a good tactic.
